December 6, 2009 Update


I became a granddad this month, but I doubt that had anything to do with my weight. However, I did take a diet break the week of Thanksgiving and ate my fill. It was fun. So this may not have been a great month for weight loss.

From the picture, it looks like a couple of pounds may have fallen off.

Lots of work to do.

Long time no see.
I’ve heard many people say how they lost weight was to eat 5 or 6 times a day.

Let’s say you eat X amount of food in 3 meals per day.

The new way of eating would be to take your usual meal, but put it in two plates.

Eat one plate and plan to eat the other plate about two hours afterwards.

Usually you won’t eat all that second plate because you don’t feel so hungry and you know you have another meal to eat in a few hours.

By spreading the food out, the stomach starts to shrink and the smaller it gets, the less it takes to ‘cure’ the hunger pains.

In the long run, you eat less and loose weight without ‘hurting’.

Of course eating the right foods is helpful and exercise that doesn’t ‘hurt’ you is good.
